1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between you and Picklebet. By registering an account, accessing our website or placing a bet, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be a resident of Australia and located in a jurisdiction where online wagering is lawful.
• You must be acting on your own behalf and not on behalf of any other person.
• You must not be listed on any self-exclusion register, including BetStop, or otherwise excluded from wagering.

3. Your account

You may hold only one account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use. We may refuse to open, or may close, any account at our discretion in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

4. Identity verification

Before you can withdraw funds, and at other times as required, we must verify your identity and age. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and any documents we reasonably request. We may suspend account activity and withhold withdrawals until verification is complete. Providing false information may result in closure of your account and forfeiture of funds obtained through misrepresentation.

5. Deposits and withdrawals

• Deposits must come from a payment method held in your own name.
• We do not offer credit; you can only bet with funds available in your account.
• Withdrawals are paid to a verified account in your name and may be subject to identity and source-of-funds checks.
• We may apply minimum and maximum transaction amounts and reasonable processing times.
• Your account is not a bank account and does not earn interest.

6. Placing bets

A bet is accepted only once it has been confirmed by our system and appears in your betting history. It is your responsibility to check the details of a bet before confirming it. We may decline all or part of any bet, and may set or vary limits on stakes, prices and markets at our discretion. Prices can change at any time before a bet is accepted.

7. Settlement and results

Bets are settled according to the relevant market rules and the official result declared by the applicable controlling body. If official results are later amended, we settle in accordance with our betting rules for that sport or racing code. Where a "best of" or handicap market applies, the specific market rules govern settlement.

8. Void bets, palpable errors and disputes

We may void a bet where an event is abandoned or postponed beyond a stated period, where a market is offered in error, or where an obvious pricing or entry error (a "palpable error") has occurred. In these cases affected bets may be voided and stakes returned. We aim to resolve disputes fairly; if you disagree with a settlement you may raise a complaint through our support channels.

9. Promotions and bonuses

Promotions are offered from time to time and are subject to their own specific terms as well as these general terms. Unless stated otherwise:

• Promotions are available to eligible customers only and may be limited by time, market or region.
• One promotion applies per person, household, device or account unless stated.
• We may withdraw, vary or refuse a promotion, and may void bonuses obtained through abuse or irregular play.
• Promotions are informational and do not guarantee any winnings.

10. Responsible gambling

11. Prohibited conduct

• Using the service for money laundering, fraud or any unlawful purpose.
• Colluding with others, using automated systems, or exploiting errors or loopholes.
• Opening multiple accounts or betting on behalf of a third party.
• Providing false information or interfering with the integrity of any event.

12. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close your account, withhold funds and report to relevant authorities where we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, engaged in prohibited conduct, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; any genuine balance will be returned subject to verification.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services, from events beyond our reasonable control, or from interruptions, delays or errors in the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

14. Partner terms

Wagering on racing and sporting events is offered under arrangements with the relevant controlling bodies and approved wagering partners, including Racing NSW, Racing Victoria, Racing Queensland, Racing and Wagering Western Australia, Tasracing, the AFL, the NRL, Football Australia and Rugby Australia. Product fees and integrity requirements set by these partners may apply to certain markets. By betting on these events you acknowledge that additional partner rules and integrity obligations may govern the relevant markets, and that we may share information with controlling bodies where required for the integrity of wagering.

15. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
